Yes, that is right. If you have not noticed before most if not all of my shoes come from there. Some being a few years old and still alive and kicking.
When I was a younger lady Payless was a very taboo place. It was the placed that people who did not have money would go and buy poorly made and inexpensive shoes. There were no designer brands, eco-friendly lines, or celebrity endorsements. It was just a few stores and a whole lot of people buying shoes, such as myself.
Over the years the Payless Brand has expanded to bags, tights, hats, even jewelry. The buy one get one half off still exists, thank goodness and the prices and sales are still amazing!
The additions, beyond other types of accessories are some great designer brands that have made me ever more addicted to the store. From Christian Siriano shes to Isabel Toledo and a surprise favorite Lela Rose. They have had other guest designers and now they have an eco-friendly brand Paul and Joe, a funky line called Lower East Side, Fiona, and even Toms like shoes that go to countries struggling with poverty.
So why not go over to a store and check it out! I just bought an amazing pair of shoes for 23.99 and it was so worth it!
