Hello all!

I am going out to Brunch today and do not plan on doing too much today so I wanted to look very relaxed and comfortable. I, of course want to look good so I choose some sparkle and pattern to add to the outfit.

Today I am wearing my longer jean shorts and a cranberry red tank-top from the Gap in a light jersey fabric. To keep me warm in the rain I am also wearing a striped mid-length cover-up.

For accessories I chose my Sprout watch, my flea market blue pendent necklace and the Liz Claibourne flats.

Tip of the Day: Pair jean shorts with exciting tops.

Outfit:
Top: The Gap ($18)
Cover-Up: JC Penny ($10)
Jean Short: American Eagle (Gift $0)
Watch: Sprout ($18)
Necklace: Flea Market ($5)
Shoes: DSW ($12)

Busy Thursday-Outfit

Hello everyone!

Today is yet another gorgeous day on the East coast (again enjoyed from a room with no windows) But at any rate it will be a nice day, a long one, and filled with work, food, hanging with a good friend and museuming!

Today I am wearing my Uniqlo printed top with some basic (or not so basic) green wide-legged shorts. I needed something to wear over the top because of air-conditioning and choose the wonderful stripped light cover-up to add even more print to my outfit.

For accessories I went basic with my brown Ann Taylor belt, my metal and clear plastic bracelets. and borrowed platform shoes with lots of color!

Tip of the Day: Wear a great top with basic wide-leg shorts!

Outfit:
Shirt: Uniqlo ($20)
Cover-Up: JC Penny ($5)
Short: Urban O ($10)
Shoes: Rainbow (Borrowed $0)
Bracelets: Gifts ($0)

Whirlwind Wednesday

Ah Wednesdays, always a crazy day for me with work, class, and then volunteering. On the bright side the semester is nearing a close and it is warm if not slightly threatening outside, time to bring an umbrellas as an accessory!

Today I wanted to look nice with a high-waist-ed skirt, a mid-length shirt and cover-up with flats. It is not conservative by any means BUT it is a bit more toned down than my usual crazy get-ups!

I am wearing a mustard yellow top with gold buttons at the neck and sleeves. I tucked that into a stretchy black polka dotted skirt and put on a striped cover-up to stay warm in and because the shirt is slightly see through. To balance with accessories I choose colorful and fun accessories that were given, made, and bought!

I am also wearing a very old urban outfitters belt and also very old Target flats to finish the outfit.

Tip of the day: Wear something slightly see-through .. WITH a cover-up!

Outfit:
Top: H&M ($10)
Skirt: H&M ($10)
Cover-Up: J. C. Penny ($5)
Shoes: Target ($15)
Belt: Urban Outfitters ($20)
Blue, long necklace: Flea Market ($5)
Pink Necklace: Made by Me!
Star Necklace: Given by friend Martha!

Happy wednesday!

Sunday - traveling garb

Hello everyone!

Another busy day! and I even crossed from Boston to NYC (and tried to look good while doing it). Today was a fun day that revolved around sports gear, my main accessory being my basketball. I played short people basketball for an hour or so with some, well, short people like me! Then I ran home, stuffed my clothes and other items into several bags and shipped on out on the lovely and internet-filled Bolt Bus.

Today I wore a mix of things:
I wore my striped cardigan, cover-up top that I got at JC Penny for $5. I wore my men's sweater vest for another go with the same striped belt. I joined it with my H&M plaid skinny slacks. For accessories I stayed minimal (for me) with a gold-plated necklace shaped like leaves and green patent leather shoes from Payless so long ago that I have NO idea when I bought them.

Outfit:
Cover-Up: JC Penny ($5)
Top: Forever 21 ($8.99)
Belt: An addition from another top
Pants: H&M ($10)
Shoes: Payless (no clue the price)
Necklace: Claire's Accessories ($12.99)
