Starting to Look like Spring

 It finally started to feel like spring this weekend.  And I took full advantage of it by breaking out my tank tops and wedges.  I actually left the house on Saturday morning in a cardigan but returned home after running some errands to put on a lighter top.  I really like how my two orange tanks layers over each other.  The warm weather was such a treat!

 Today I cast off my tights and embraced spring by going bare legged.  It felt so nice not to  have to worry about tights today.  I decided to embellish my basic blue Boden dress with a borrowed scarf from my mother.  I didn't want to go overboard as I love the shape of this dress and how flattering it is.  I finished off my outfit with my basic brown BR pumps.  It was so nice not to have to worry about layering for warmth today!

Saturday Syrah!

Today was not only a beautiful day to kick off the long weekend, but also a fun day of wine tasting for me. I was invited by the lovely Stormy Normy to head up to wine country to meet up with a college friend of hers and her family.











I knew wine country would be warm so I wanted to wear clothes that would be comfortable in the heat, but still dressy enough for chic wine country wineries.













I paired my green silk tiered skirt with a ruffled tank to strike the balance between dressed up and comfortable on this sunny Saturday.














To finish off my outfit I wore my yellow wedges that my brother gave me. They are beyond comfortable. I also wore a scarf given to me by a friend to make sure that I didn't burn my chest!

My Weekend Wedges!

Today was another pretty laid back Saturday for me which my clothing for today really reflects. I even went so far as to wear the same navy t-shirt today that I did yesterday since I put it on pretty late both days.
Today I broke out my gap flare jeans. In order to not trip and die over these jeans, I broke out some wedges that my brother gave me a few years ago. They are actually Crocs ( I never thought I would own a pair ever), and super comfortable. My brother bought them for me because they are heels but they are incredibly comfortable. The bright yellow color doesn't hurt either.

To finish off my outfit I broke out my purple cardi (also a gift from my brother) to add a dash more color to my outfit.
