Pre-haircut but with TOMS!!

Hello!

Today will be a fun day of hanging out in my old neighborhood and later dancing!!

Today I wanted to be comfy so I chose my F21 blue pants, my urban printed tee-shirt, and my new TOMS via mike!!

Posts these days are a bit jumbled but I will have new things to show like... New glasses! They are Tiffany's and a little different shape and color too.

I also did a quick shot of my Webster for Target flats just because!

I will also have shots of my new Toms and a new haircut!!

Last night in Brooklyn!'

Tonight marks my last night in NYC! Soon there will be photos from Boston, Cambridge, cross country, and finally California!!

Tonight mike and I are super snazzy! I am wearing a sushi jacket found at Beacon's Closet, Gap pants, target loafers, and vintage faux pearls!

Working and goodbye party Saturday

When you have a day where an outfit must be work related but also fun for a party my answer is layers and pattern. I guess that is how I approach every outfit but it works for today also!!

The NYC tour continues with lunch and then a brief tour of many soho stores that I never went into before. I went into H&M and found amazing pants (seen below) and fell in love with a beautiful dress.

A day for failed, and some successful bucket list NYC happenings!

Today was beyond wet in New York. When your flats, hair, purse, arms, ears, whole body is immersed in water one can say that you had a New York shower... and then you run and have a real one.

After a day of trying to go to the Whitney Museum of American art (fail), H&M (success), and Red Rooster in Harlem (success). I say that today, and my outfit, were successful!

Today is brunch and botanical gardens yay!!

Humid Friday or basically everyday outdit

Today is miserably hot and humid, a day you beg for rain or a Canadian wind. Today is my last day at NYU also, so I wanted to look fun, comfortable, and very bright!

Here and There in Cardigans

This week has been flying by and I have been wearing my trusty cardigans through and through.  Both of these cardigans are from The Gap and are two of my absolute favorites.  The blue one is a lightweight wool and the oatmeal one is cashmere.  They keep me warm during the long hours I spend sitting at my desk at work in front of my computer.  Naturally they also allow me to show off the shape and pattern of whatever I choose to put under them - a big bonus for me!

Blue pants and blue skies

The humidity has departed briefly and thankfully I get to wear my new pants!

They are cheapie Forever 21 ($19) and so comfy! Paired with a tank, a wonderful necklace made by Claire, and thrifted shoes I am ready for the day!

Late Sparkly Friday

 Last Friday I capped off my tiring week of work and watching the olympics with my sparkly cardigan.  Its a pretty dressed up sweater, but I figured its brightness would make up for my lack of energy at the office.  It worked!  Everybody said I looked really put together and they loved my sweater.  I rarely get so many comments on my clothes!

Yet another weekend filled with no posts! So sorry! Without Internet my outfits go sans the blog but as always I wore:

3. Inappropriate for rain but fancy shoes!

Today is my star dress day with my awesome new flats from target ($19) and my amazing gifted necklace from Anthropologie!

Friday dots and color

Nothing says relaxed Friday like dots all over. Yesterday I planned to be an extra in a short film with Mike but the criteria for clothes included no bright colors, whites, or crazy patterns - since I did not feel too great (and had nothing to wear) I opted out and missed meeting one of the actors from mad about you a favorite of mine!

Anyhoo today is about color and pols dots! I am wearing a cropped top from F21, dress from H&M, a gifted necklace, and thrifted shoes! All less than $50 for the whole outfit!
