The NYC tour continues with lunch and then a brief tour of many soho stores that I never went into before. I went into H&M and found amazing pants (seen below) and fell in love with a beautiful dress.
Have a happy Thursday!

Tuesday Patterns and Loafers
Tuesday is always a quiet day for me and when things are quiet and relaxed I like to wear shorts!!
The shorts below are my favorite and are also comfy. I love the t-shirt, which was a gift from a friend as well as my gold necklaces.
My loafers are the highlight of this outfit because they are a great color, have an awesome pattern, and older women compliment me all the time on them for their "high fashion look."
Also I apologize for all of the phone pictures, since I do not have stable Internet at home this is my staple way o blogging, at least I am still blogging at all!
Happy fashioning friends!

Despite some great outfits and a good try on my part I did not win anything at the Threesis Finals! I did get there and wore my lovely striped skirt. At any rate I got fashonably tipsy, went home, watched Being Elmo and drifted off to a relaxing sleep.
Today is a quiet day of brunch and making food and preparing for another week!
Happy April Fools Day and Happy Sunday!

Warm Monday
Hello!
Today is going to a beautiful day and despite being stuck in a office (a cold one at that), I decided to look colorful and ready for SPRING!

A Long Week and A Long Wednesday
Hello Fashion Blog readers!
We at HBPEP want to say thanks for checking out our blog! Because of this avenue I push a little harder to show you cheap but innovative clothing, so thanks again!
Today I am wearing a fun but pretty comfortable outfit. I will be researching in the library and either running for books, printing, or furiously reading SOOO I want to look good but also be able to get around. I also have a meeting and then heading to Astoria so I wanted something multi-purpose and of course full of color, prints, and interesting details.
So my outfit consists of my bright tomato red vintage top from Goodwill. Not seen in the photos in the great buttons it has in the back. I always leave a few open to show some back but because it has been cooler I am using my funky long blazer as a cover up. With that I chose my Gap printed scarf for the night time air and my plaid blue pants from H&M. To top it off accessory wise I chose a bunch of clear plastic and gold bracelets, my trusty Sprout watch, and some funky cool buckled suede platforms. Overall a fun and very Patty outfit.
Tip of the Day: Pull out pieces with interesting details be that fun prints, bright colors, or buckles etc. Have fun with your clothes!
Outfit:
Top: Goodwill ($5)
Pants: H&M ($10)
Blazer: H&M ($20)
Scarf: The Gap ($10)
Shoes: DSW ($20)
Watch: Sprout ($20)

Total: $95

Raining, Busy, Cold Thursday
Hello everyone,
This is the second of my outfits for the day. After hours in the library in a dress and flats I found being cold motivates you to high-tail it home and put on some pants!
And that is what I did!
So today I chose to wear my Gap cropped green military-style pants. I actually love these and was surprised about how well they fit the leg and were not too long. For under $20 they were a steal! With that I paired it with a Uniqlo t-shirt and my Goodwill button down. For accessories, and due to rain, I chose a basic silver chain and cute patent leather flats from Payless.
I guess Fall is really "falling" into place, tehe. That was bad, sorry :)
Tip of the Day: The Goodwill is your friend, and chock full of great finds. If you are a digger and you like a hunt, a Goodwill is for you!
Outfit:
Button-Down: Goodwill ($5)
Pants: The Gap ($20)
Shoes: Payless ($15)
Watch: Sprout ($20)
Necklace: Aldo's Accessories ($10)

Crazy Wedsnesday Can End in Greatness

Hello everyone!
Today is a busy day for me, and by busy I mean I am sitting for long stretches of time. What better way to sit in comfort and style than a Good Will/Vintage Sarong made into a skirt.
As a tiny lady I try to make a lot of different clothes work for me, despite the shortness so this skirt, albiet WAY too long as a skirt works very well wrapped and belted as a dress. It is made into a halter dress and belted with an Urban Outfitters belt. Because the back is very exposed I used a blazer to workify the ensemble and cover myself up.
As for accessories and shoes I stayed bare up top - no necklaces or earrings. Instead I chose a HUGE plastic ring from H&M and tons of bangles that were all gifts from different friends. The shoes are borrowed wedges, that I love!!!!
Tip of the Day: Wear that skirt as a dress, but make sure it is long enough.
Outfit:
Dress/Skirt: The Good Will ($5)
Belt: Urban Outfitters ($10)
Shoes: Borrowed ($0)
Blazer: H&M ($20)
Bracelets: Gifts ($0)
Ring: H&M ($4.99 for 3)

Tuesdays at the Library

Hello everyone!
Feeling physically better than I did yesterday, I am venturing to the library for internship stuff and thesis research (AHH) but that does not mean I can not look good doing it.
Today I decided on a scholarly vibe, if scholarly meant a Ralph Lauren button-down. With the button-down I chose a floral skirt and a jumble of necklaces, all given to me, with one small purchase (the pink owl necklace). I have some gifted clear plastic bracelets and DSW platforms.
AND of course the watch is always there, need to keep time of course.
Tip of the Day! Pattern is your friend! Especially if it is a Good Will button-down.
Outfit:
Button-Down: Good Will ($5)
Skirt: Gift ($0)
Shoes: DSW ($15)
Necklaces: Gifts and Forever 21 ($4)
Bracelets: Gifts ($0)
Watch: Sprout ($20)

METS Weds

(me and my Mystery! mug)
In honor of the METS I decided to wear METS like colors!
Today I am wearing a Good Will top with buttons down the back (actually worn backwards). I love this deep orange color and how light the fabric is. To pair with it for my internship and game I chose my printed Urban Outfitters shorts with the Ann Taylor belt. For accessories I stayed light with a pendant flea market necklace and my Sprout watch. For shoes I decided to go alittle outside the box and chose my t-strap sandals from Georges.
Overall the outfit is fun, light, comfortable, and easy to get around in - so perfect for the day!
Tip of the Day: Wear a light blouse with structured print shorts for a comfortable affect. For work, bring a blazer to add to the outfit.
Outfit:
Top: Good Will ($5)
Shorts: Urban O ($20)
Belt: Ann Taylor ($5)
Shoes: Georges ($15)
Watch: Sprout ($20)
Necklace: Flea Market ($5)
